Swimming is the perfect way to unwind a rigorous day skiing the slopes, and a great way to soothe those aching muscles. Quite literally home to one of Verbier’s largest swimming pools with its 25-metre indoor salt-water swimming pool and relaxation area complex. This vast chalet’s separate hammam, sauna, and ice-cold plunge pool make it more akin to a private luxury retreat.
Did you know? Saltwater swimming pools use a natural, salt-based form of chlorine which is much gentler on the eyes, hair and skin, unlike heavily chlorinated pools. It’s also thought that saltwater pools are better for those who suffer from asthma and allergies.
Chalet Chouqui
There’s a reason why GQ calls Chalet Chouqui “the last word in Swiss alpine luxe” and we think it might be to do with its grand, 15-metre subterranean swimming pool. It’s hard to photograph the pool, complete with lounge area, in one shot. Of course, the chalet also boasts an outdoor Jacuzzi and Turkish hammam (once you’ve exhausted yourself with laps of the pool).
Chalet Dent Blanche
This traditional wood chalet is quite a sight to behold. The spectacular spa area offers panoramic views overlooking the Verbier plateau, where you can make the most of the heated (yes, heated) pool and relaxation area. Other perks include a sauna, hammam, gym and outdoor hot tub.

Chalet Sapphire – Morzine
Not only does Chalet Sapphire offer an indoor pool (with massage and counter-current jets) but it does so with a resplendent view of the Morzine mountains. Sapphire also boasts a hammam, ice chamber and spa where you can choose from a range of massage or beauty treatments by a Bamford-trained therapist.
Chalet Tataali – Morzine
While it may not be the biggest swimming pool on our list, it’s arguably one of the coolest. The indoor 10-metre heated pool is nestled in a modern, timber area decked out with contemporary hanging lights, sloped ceiling, waterfall and a swing which overhangs the pool.
Chalet Grande Corniche – Les Gets
This award-winning chalet is consistently voted amongst the best in the world. We think it could be to do with the enormous heated outdoor infinity pool (with hot tub) that allows you to swim beneath the stars at night. Post-swim, head to the glass sauna for a 180-degree view of Les Gets valley.
Chalets in Méribel with swimming pools
This sizeable heated outdoor pool is perfect for a spot of night swimming. The large terrace area which overlooks the pool makes it great for entertaining guests and après pool parties. Another incredible feature is the copper hot tub.
As far as outdoor ski chalet pools go, this one takes some beating. On the lower terrace of this exceptional mountain retreat, you can choose between a soak in the raised hot tub or a dip in the stunning, heated infinity pool (complete with jet streams). Both great for enjoying incredible views of the Méribel countryside while you unwind.
This indoor, mirror edge pool overlooks a breathtaking valley vista through large bay windows and has a Roman bath feel to it. Stone hammam, massage suite, sauna room and Italian style shower are all welcome extras.

Indoor pool or outdoor pool? That’s the question you’ll find yourself asking during your stay in this opulent new-build chalet. Its indoor swimming pool even sits in a large, contemporary stone room with a fireplace overlooking it.
Not only does Chalet N have a hay sauna, Finnish sauna and an outdoor hot tub with a whirlpool, but the indoor swimming pool is quite spectacular. Set in a large open plan space, the vast pool can be appreciated from the cushioned day bed which extends out into it.
