About Portetta Loft I
Situated on the top two floors of Hotel Le Portetta, with a stunning view over Courchevel 1650, these stylish, fully equipped self catering apartments offer that extra element of luxury combined with added privacy. The Portetta hotel located right at the foot of the slopes giving you easy access to the ski area and the local ski schools; this is the perfect spot for a family trip to the Alps.
Loft 1 is ideal for a small family of 2 adults and 2 children as it has a spacious open plan sitting area with roaring log fire, dining area and a perfectly sized kitchenette so you can rustle up something quickly should you need to. The main bedroom overlooks the piste with a large balcony, so you can enjoy the beautiful views of the ski resort and national park. The Bunkroom is equipped with two large bunk beds opposite the bathroom and plenty of storing space.
The Loft rates are quoted on a bed and breakfast basis – but of course you are welcome to dine at Cucina Angelina with head chef Henri whose menu changes daily and is influenced by classic French and Italian cooking. In the afternoon you can sit back and watch everyone at the Fire & Ice terrace bar wrapped up in a snug or if you are after a reinvigorating treatment the Portetta Spa at is open every day of the week and is the perfect place to relax after a busy day on the slopes!

If you are looking for ski in/ski out accommodation within proximity to the beginners’ area and some lively après on a sunny terrace, Courchevel 1650 ticks all the boxes. This really is a great choice for a family holiday or for anyone looking to enjoy the 3 Vallees without all the fur and caviar of neighboring 1850. The blue/red runs leading down to the resort are a great way to finish a long day before relaxing on the terrace of the Portetta hotel for a well earnt après beverage. However, there is also the option of night skiing if you don’t feel like you have done enough in the daytime hours.
