Mount Callaghan
About Mount Callaghan
Mount Callaghan is a one-bedroom apartment located on the first floor of the Nevada Residence, a collection of beautiful contemporary apartments tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Zermatt’s main high street. The collection ranges from one-bedroom boltholes to a beautiful five-bedroom penthouse.
If arriving by train, this property is perfectly positioned just a minute’s walk from the train station. Zermatt’s cool cafes, restaurants, boutiques and bars are just moments away and, for keen skiers, the property is equally close to the Gornergrat station which takes you to the top of the mountain.
Sleeping up to two people in one spacious bedroom, Mount Callaghan is the perfect apartment for a couple or two friends seeking simplicity in a serene yet sophisticated space.
The apartment opens into a stylish, modern open plan living and dining room that opens out onto a terrace. Large windows allow plenty of light to flood the space. Relax on the generous L-shaped sofa at the end of an active day. A fully-equipped single-wall kitchen allows for easy dinner preparation and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table which comfortably seats up to four people.
A short passage leads you past a guest toilet and then into the spacious and tranquil bedroom which enjoys a large en-suite bathroom. The bed can be configured as a double or two twin beds.
Mount Callaghan can be accessed by either a lift or stairs. The residence also houses a ski room with private ski lockers and a laundry room with all the necessary facilities.

Notes
Zermatt arguable provides the best views in the Alps with the striking Matterhorn overlooking the town. The town itself is car free meaning that you can through the streets more freely. There is plenty of history to take in whilst you are in the resort from the Matterhorn museum to the old style buildings and small cobbled streets.
