Only 1 hour from Geneva and 40 min to Chamonix and the Mont Blanc, Megève has a medieval heart, but it in certain ways was the original purpose-built French ski resort – conceived in the 1920s by the Rothschild family who spent their holidays there.
Multiple Michelin-star restaurants, historic Alpine architecture, and winding cobblestone streets have established Megève as a destination known as much for its gastronomy and cultural richness as for its striking natural landscape.Explore Megève
