Terms & Conditions

Camel Snow aids clients in sourcing Chalets or properties and other products associated with your ski holiday in accordance with the terms and conditions set out herein (the “Conditions”). All references to “you” or “your” refers to the person named  on the booking confirmation as a client of Camel Snow.

When booking your holiday through Camel Snow Ltd, (“Camel Snow”), you must be aware that Camel Snow acts solely as an agent between the chalet owner/provider or operator (the “Supplier”).

Camel Snow accepts no responsibility in regards to the contract you enter into with any Supplier purchased or introduced by Camel Snow or for any acts or omissions of such Suppliers in connection with such contracts. All bookings will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Supplier (the “Supplier’s Terms and Conditions”), which will vary on the services that they provide. All copies of Supplier’s Terms and Conditions are available on request from Camel Snow prior to you making a booking with a Supplier. Please note that on making a booking, the person making the booking is deemed to have read these Conditions and the Supplier’s Terms and Conditions and agrees (on behalf of all other persons named on the booking) to be bound by them.

Booking Conditions
Booking conditions vary between Suppliers. All monies must be paid in accordance with the Supplier’s Terms and Conditions within the time limit set out therein.

In some cases where a deposit might have been paid the remaining balance must be settled within the date provided on the contract or set within the terms of conditions. All payments and associated costs must be paid by you to fulfil the booking contract set out between you and the Supplier.

Advertised prices
Prices advertised on our website are guidelines only and these prices vary throughout the year. Camel Snow Ltd accepts no responsibility for misstatements or misinterpretations of these prices and you are advised that all prices should be checked directly with Camel Snow prior to confirming your booking.

On all booking enquiries, prices provided by Camel Snow are supplied directly from the Supplier at the time of the enquiry. Prices through Camel Snow are set out to be the same as going direct to the Supplier unless otherwise stated by us. Camel Snow will notify you if an additional fee is payable in relation to method of payment.

In some cases a small tourist tax may be payable directly to the Supplier.

Insurance Cover
It is your responsibility to ensure that you (and all members of your booking party) have adequate insurance cover for your holiday and that it covers all activities you will participate in. Please be aware that in the case of competitive racing or training or other related extreme activities extra cover will need to be provided.

Camel Snow also recommends that your cover includes cost of cancelation in the event of an accident or illness. The cover should also extend into the cost of repatriation due to an accident or illness. Insurance policies vary between suppliers and therefore you are advised to carefully read and ensure that you understand the terms and conditions of your insurance cover.

All insurance details must be attainable whilst on your holiday.

Transport and Immigration Requirements
Where transport is not included in your booking with the Supplier, it is your responsibility to make all travel arrangements and to inform Camel Snow of these arrangements at least 30 days prior to your departure. Camel Snow accepts no responsibility in relation to such travel arrangements and owes no liability or compensation if flights or transport departures are delayed or missed for any reason.

The satisfaction of all immigration requirements, including all passport and visa requirements are your responsibility and Camel Snow do not accept any responsibility or liability if for any reason you are not eligible to travel.

Changes or Cancellations
We are only able to make changes which are within the Supplier’s Terms and Conditions, (available on request and provided when you confirm your booking).

Please be aware that some Suppliers may charge a 100% cancellation fee within a certain date of departure and therefore the earlier we are aware of the situation the quicker we are able to assist you to recoup your costs to the extent permitted by the Supplier’s Terms and Conditions. Please note cancellation requests must be confirmed in writing.

Camel Snow will make every effort to inform you as soon as reasonably possible of a change to your booking made by the Supplier and we will assist you in agreeing alternative arrangements with the Supplier. However, please note that Camel Snow have no liability in relation to changes at the request of the Supplier.

Our responsibility
We at Camel Snow facilitate a deal between the Supplier and you based on the information and instructions from you. Your contract for your booking is with the Supplier and Camel Snow accepts no responsibility for the fulfillment of such contract.

Notwithstanding this, in the event that we are found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our liability to you will not exceed the cost of your booking, prorated per person depending on how many people in the booking are affected. Liability for death or personal injury is not excluded or limited where it arises from the negligence of Camel Snow or any of our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.

Force Majeure
Camel Snow do not have any liability where the performance of our obligations to you or those of the Supplier are affected as a result of a force majeure event, which is defined as any circumstance not within a our reasonable control including, without limitation: acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake, adverse weather conditions or other natural disaster; epidemic or pandemic; terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off of diplomatic relations; nuclear, chemical or biological contamination; any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; any labour or trade dispute, strikes, industrial action or lockouts.

Complaints and queries
Your contract is with the Supplier and therefore all complaints must be directed towards the Supplier.

Applicable Law
These Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
