Chalet Toit du Monde
About Chalet Toit du Monde
The magnificent Chalet Toit du Monde was converted from a 17th Century French Monastery. This historic building in Val d’Isere underwent a 3-year multi million pound renovation, which was completed in 2007. Since then it has continued to be lovingly maintained and improved on a year-to-year basis. Many original features still remain, including the impressive 1.5-meter thick stonewalls.
The chalet now offers 4 suites, 2 of which are dual level and allow the option of adding an extra bed on the lower level for an additional charge*. Guests will have every need and desire catered to by your dedicated staff from chef to chauffeur, host to beauty therapist. Each en-suite double bedroom has a giant hand-carved marble bath, which transforms into a hammam (steam room) enclosed by glass walls.
Chalet Toit du Monde has its own concealed pool, which appears at the touch of a button with dual functionality of indoor/ outdoor swimming and Jacuzzi jets. With sauna, spa therapy room, ski room, private wine cellar and cigar room, the chalet is the ultimate luxury winter haven.
The Chalet can be combined with Chalet Himalaya creating the ‘Domain Toit de Monde’ bringing occupancy up to 16 guests, with double the facilities.
